Alimak Hek at Pulp & Paper plants
This is where it all began, almost 40 years ago. In 1966, our first ever industrial lift was delivered to the Skutskär paper mill in Sweden. Today, more than 100 similar lifts are in use on digesters, bleach towers and other structures around the world.
A vital key is optimum utilization of existing resources and equipment. Alimak lifts improve productivity and maintenance efficiency and are operating in paper mills in Scandinavia, Brazil, Swaziland, and the USA, for example.

In 1968 Skoghall installed its first Alimak lift on a digester. Today four Alimak lifts gives access to various parts of the plant.
